I’ll be the first to admit I’m a tomboy. I’m comfortable in jeans and tight baby doll tees that do nothing to hide my curves, yet exude the notion that I don’t hide from my “girl power” side. I’m often told that my way of thinking is more masculine than my female peers as well. Now I’m not a sports nut, but I do love my XBox and read Vertigo comics in my leisure time. My pursuits have always strayed far from the traditionally feminine… yet at the same time you’ll never, ever forget I’m all woman. Tomboys have always got a pat on the head for their sense of bold adventure. We aren’t scorned by society, in fact, we’re embraced by it. It’s not so easy for the sissy girl, now is it? No, the poor little sissy slut is treated like a pariah!
When you’re a woman with a decidedly masculine side, you’re not considered a freak. You’re admirable, different in a good way. Even when I put on something soft and frilly, my manner is direct, straightforward, unflinching. Those traits are admired in society and seen as traits that are sadly lacking in the sissy girl. Sissy is a word used to delineate males who’ve failed at the traditional male role, taking on the seemingly worst traits of women. Sissies are seen as lacking courage and stoicism. Their interests in fashion and traditionally female things mark them as weak among their peers. They become targets of scorn and derision, failures as men.
So while it’s acceptable in society for a female to exhibit positive male traits while maintaining their aura of femininity, the reverse simply isn’t true. Males who exhibit any female tendencies become labeled as sissy girls and are often automatically relegated to second class status. I’m sure you know this well, don’t you sissy girl? While you love the way it feels to get all femmed up, you also feel a sense of shame, of loss of status. You crave the very extreme humiliation that haunted you when you were young, seeking to revisit that first thrill of embarrassment.
And while you twitch and squirm in your male attire just waiting for the moment you can eschew them for feminine things, well I use extremely feminine attire as a tool. I walk both sides of the coin proudly… tomboy around close friends and family, feminine girlie girl when I’m setting my honey trap to lure you in. It’s such an easy thing to do… males don’t suspect for an instant I have a thought in my pretty little head. It makes them weak and vulnerable to my more direct charms. But they DO sense your discomfort in the world of men… Funny isn’t it… poor humiliated sissy boy just can’t catch a break!
